Here is our first morning...
I know this is a waste of paper...but it was either he play with paper towels or screws. Sometimes a mom must just pick her battles.
And here is Lita, coming to save the kids from the big empty house so I can get some work done...or blogging.
*I swear Mommy, this only took a few minutes and then I went right back to work!!!*
Yes, I still call my mom "Mommy" and I'm darn proud, thankyouverymuch.
Now for the help. We have the kitchen and a bathroom left to paint. We are at the bottom of our move in budget so would like to try and get one color/gallon of paint for both. I think. Maybe.
Here is the kitchen, please excuse the mess...
As you can see, it won't need much. Just a bit of color on top and around the cabinets & window. I was thinking a yellow, but I'm not loving that little paint card I got there in the last shot. We've already used blue in the other bathrooms, a mellow green in one bedroom, burnt orange & chocolate brown in the master and this crazy green in another bedroom...
So all I can think of is some kind of yellow...but what kind? Would a yellow work in a bathroom too? If not, what other color? Or any other color ideas? Help me!!!!

It's so hard to tell from pictures on a computer, but I think a muted version of the yellow paint card you have there would look really nice.

Yes I like yellow. maybe more of a creamy yellow than you got on the sample card. I think Yellow can work in the bathroom also. (Our bathroom is yellow :))

I agree, the yellow is too yellow, I think if you're going to go in that direction it needs to be creamier, or it will look dated.
I recently got a job and am very behind on all things the bump and all blogging but I love the house pics it looks huge Congrats!!

Ciria, I have a gallon of this paint http://www.freshairechoice.com/Product.html#/Product_Colors/ in "butterfly wing." Online it looks way more brown than in person where it is a nice yellow. If you're at home depot you can pick up the card and see if you like it. Let me know and I'll give it to you. I bought it a year ago when we got our house and painted everything. It was for our bathrooms but then I decided I wasn't going to touch the bathrooms until we completely remodel them so it's just sitting unopened in the garage.
And congratulations on the house, it is beautiful.
